Zaha Hadid – Evelyn Grace Academy, RIBA Stirling Prize 2011

The Evelyn Grace Academy, by Zaha Hadid Architects, a secondary school located in Brixton, Southern England, is the winner of the RIBA Stirling Prize 2011, named as the best new building constructed or designed in the UK.

As RIBA (Royal Institute of British Architects) points out, the building represents all that an educational building should be: a fun space with a singular design and spaces that are conducive to learning.
