Louis Kahn - My Architect: A Son´s Journey

On March 17th, 1974, a man died of a heart attack in the washrooms of Penn Station in New York. The contact address on his passport was rubbed out, and his body was sent to the city morgue, where it remained three days before someone came to claim it. This terrible death, lonely and anonymous is, ironically, the final page in the biography of Louis Kahn, a giant who marked the history of architecture in the second half of the 20th century. It is also the opening scene of a documentary opening in theaters in the United States, "My Architect: A Son's Journey," directed by Nathaniel Kahn, one of two sons born out of wedlock to the architect.
